OUTPATIENT SERVICES

- FTY provides individual outpatient services to youths under age 21 and their families.
- FTY referrals are accepted from family members, the youths, mental health agencies, The Division of Child and Family Services, Youth Court, Law Enforcement, schools, and group homes.
- FTY believes that in-depth one-to one counseling, building trust and problem-solving in a non-threatening environment are keys to helping youths and their families who are experiencing difficulty.
- FTY believes in working with the whole family to improve communication, to constructively handle conflict, and to enhance family relationships.
- FTY offers a sliding fee scale and accepts Medicaid and insurance.

FAMILY BASED SERVICES

- The Family Based Services program provides a family preservation effort to families with a child who is considered to be 'at risk' of removal from their home due to abuse and neglect.
- Family Based Services therapists work with families to keep their children in the home or reunify them by helping provide a nurturing family environment.
- The Family Based Services therapist provides traditional therapy, parenting skills training, advocacy, and support within the context of the family's home environment.
- The Family Based Services therapist focuses on the strengths of families.
- The Family Based Services intervention typically last three months or 100 hours.
- The Family Based Services program accepts referrals from the Division of Child and Family Services, Youth Court, Drug Court or private pay.
